Summer Open House
June 21st
10AM to 6PM
Join us at the studio for our largest summer event, featuring ceramics made by Toshiko’s former apprentices, students, & current resident artists.
We will again feature complimentary wood-fired pizza made by Swampy Vale Farm Pizza starting at noon.
Come peruse pottery, enjoy the sculpture garden, and have a slice (or three) of pizza!
Find out more about this year’s participating artists & other studio goings-on with our Instragram page!
We are a working art studio carrying on the traditions of Toshiko Takaezu, our teacher, mentor, master and friend in her rural New Jersey home.
To learn more about this great artist plan a tour, view Toshiko’s exhibits, or visit the Toshiko Takaezu Foundation.
“In my life I see no difference between making pots, cooking and growing vegetables. They are all so related. However, there is a need for me to work in clay. It is so gratifying and I get so much joy from it, and it gives me many answers in my life.”
